Week of older Persons

The ESCOLA INTERNACIONAL DEL CAMP held the “Week of Older Persons”, dedicated to one of the family’s most endearing figures: our grandparents.

In our society, grandparents are present in our children’s day to day lives, participating in many family activities and sharing unique moments with their grandchildren. The especial relevance that grandparents have in the family environment and EIC’s philosophy that aims its education towards the realities of the society that surrounds us, have fostered this very interesting initiative, which coincided with the “Day of Older People” celebrated on the 1st of October.

Many different activities took place in which the common denominator was always the grandparent-grandchildren relationship, expressed as one of the most important factors in a child’s upbringing. One of the week’s most successful activities was the get together held on the 1st of October where families, grandparents and grandchildren shared unique moments in the EIC, rounded off with hot chocolate for everyone.
