Older People’s Week

Our ESO2 and ESO3 students enjoyed unforgettable moments with their Grandparents during the celebration of the “Older People’s Week in EIC”.

All week long we enjoyed the visit of many of our students' grandparents and they explained what life was like when they were young, what the games and toys looked like, how their school was, the meaning of ‘Technology’…and also Ivan’s grandma from ESO1 showed and taught us how to sew  buttons!

We wrote a paragraph about how important our grandparents are and we made a huge display with the title ‘My grandpa calls me…’ finding very nice and warm expressions like ‘little mouse’, ‘princess’, ‘grandma’s sunshine’…

Grandpas and Grandmas, always the centre of attention, could remember their whole lives through the interviews done by the ESO2 and ESO3 students like superstars of TV3 or CNN!.

We concluded the week with the traditional ‘Xocolatada’ shared with all the grandparents and grandchildren of EIC. Thank you to ALL of you!
