Music and its relationship to Mathematics was the common theme of the EIC Maths Week 2019.
Famous mathematicians? Many and different nationalities, found by primary and secondary students who researched and presented them during the closing ceremony of the week. Among them, the German mathematician David Hilbert, who describes the Hilbert's Curve (in the picture) as a continuous fractal curve covering a plane, in which each of the curves approaching the final curve is simple which means that it does not not intersect itself.
There were surprising and amusing pictures taken our students who participated in the Maths contest and which can still be seen in the school entrance, as well as music videos.
Thank you everybody for a very special week.
