IB student receives a grant to study in the USA

One of our IB and Baccalaureate LOE students by the name of Sonali Mayani received a grant offered by the State University of Michigan to participate in a summer camp about Physics of atomic nuclei. The summer camp is an outreach program at two world-leading nuclear physics laboratories. She was offered a place after she applied online to the course. She has got chosen thanks to her high level of English and her academic achievements.

The program will take place during one week, from the 26th to the 31 of July in the university campus. During that week the students will be taught nuclear physics through a set of university sort of lectures combined with numerous lab experiments. She is very excited after succeeding against more than 200 other highly prepared students from all around the globe and expects it to be a great opportunity to see another country, widen her options for future studies and meet new people with the same interests

We all wish her the best of luck.
