THE FONIX – The Ninth English Competition for Catalan Schools

Six students from EIC participated in THE FONIX competition, 2016. International House, FUNDESPLAI and the Secretaria General de Polítiques Educatives del Departament d’Ensenyament de la Generalitat de Catalunya organize this event and this year is the 9th edition. A student from each ESO and BAT levels, Sara Assens (ESO1), Gunnar Montseny (ESO2), Cristina Barés (ESO3), Alex Keyken (ESO4), Adrian Nenkov (BAT1) and Sonali Mayani (BAT2) represented EIC on the provincial phase of the contest, in Tarragona last month.

We are very proud because of the experience but also because of the enrichment of our students. And after this first part we already know that Alex Keyken (ESO4) and Sonali Mayani (BAT2) have been classified for the FINAL and being among the best 100 of Catalunya!

The results of the rest of our students have also been very good  and all of them deserve our recognition and congratulations.

Let’s keep on going!
