Fourteen students completed the course which is the end of their secondary education and completes a cycle which begins at P1 and runs through to BAT2. They studied the local (national) BAT as well as in some cases the International Baccalaureate (IB), the first cohort to do so in the Camp de Tarragona. All have achieved good academic results.
The ceremony took place at 7pm last Friday at the EIC and was attended by families, friends, teachers and other staff from the EIC, as well as representatives of the governors of the Fundació Escola Internacional del Camp.

Some mentioned not just their good academic results but also the “added value” to having studied at the EIC: a range of languages (Catalan, Spanish,English and German), international qualifications and the experience of being educated in an innovative school where new technologies are integrated to the syllabus along with work experience, service to the community … There were also a few words from the President of FEIC, Josep Maria Bach, to congratulate this first cohort and to wish them the best for their promising future careers.
The EIC paid tribute to the hard work of these 14 students with a variety of gifts: a commemorative band, a certificate, a numbered print of the school and a personalised plaque which will be fixed in the Forum. The students responded with various gifts for the teachers and they will now form the first group of alumni. The ceremony concluded with a pic-pica and a celebration cake.
