The EIC takes part in the Cangur competition for Primary schools

On the 19th of March the EIC P5 and P6 students will take part in the I Cangur Competition for their level. After the success of the last 19 editions for students in the last Secondary years, this year’s competition will be the I Cangur organised for Primary level.

Coordinated by the Catalan Society of Mathematics, the Cangur test is an activity that aims to stimulate and motivate the learning of mathematics through problems. It consists of a test with some formulas and closed answers, with three levels of difficulty and five answer options for each problem.

The student groups from each centre will take the test in their own schools. The computer storing of the answers and the evaluation and calculation of the scores will be carried out by the CSM. The best 3% of scores will be published on the website and each centre will be able to see the scores of their participating students. There will be an institutional awards ceremony, the date of which will be announced later on.
