Last Friday 17th February, ESO1 and ESO2 travelled through time. We discovered that long ago, millions of years, where we now live was part of a huge sea!
It was incredible to pass from the Paleolithic, the Neolithic and the Bronze Age to the XXth century in a few hours ...
We continued the visit with an archaeological dig workshop, and we discovered that being an archaeologist is not as easy as we have seen in the films of Indiana Jones: experience, patience and knowledge are needed.
Finally, the visit to the Museum of Rural Life took us closer to our ancestors and we learnt a little bit more about the food and the tools that they used and also their traditions and culture. We recommend the visit!
Did you know that ‘espluga’ in Latin means ‘cave’?
