The EIC achieves success in the Premis Llegim Ciència at UVic

Laura Belmonte from ESO 3, has been awarded the 2nd prize in Catalonia for the Premis Llegim Ciència, Universitat de Vic. Laura was accompanied by Hugo Fanjul, Amanda Belmonte and Montserrat Rodríguez, also from ESO 3, who also participated in this event. 

The Premis Llegim Ciència at the UVic nominate novel related to science and literature in order to encourage the promotion of reading and creative writing skills of ESO 3 and 4 students. This yea's novel was Ramón y Cajal - Ara i aquí, by S. Macip, published by Angle in 2016. Laura Belmonte wrote an essay in response to the following statement: “Get under the Ramón y Cajal's skin and describe what he thought and felt when he first saw  a network of neurons under the microscope”. Laura 's prize was an e-book accompnied by a certificate.
